Deaf Advocacy

What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.  Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.

Advocates help people:

  • Speak up for themselves and make sure they are listened to.
  • Find out about their rights to services and make sure they are treated fairly.

Who can we help?

We can help Deaf people who are over 18 and live in Plymouth.
