Community Advocacy Service (Mental Health and Well Being)
The Plymouth Community Advocacy and Well Being Service is a free and confidential service for anyone using community based NHS Mental Health services in Plymouth.
What is Advocacy?
"Advocacy is taking action to help people, say what they want, protect their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Advocates and advocacy schemes work in partnership with the people, they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social equality and social justice."

The Community Advocacy Service (Mental Health and Well Being) can:
- Support you in dealing with any health and related social care problems you may be experiencing.
- It can help you speak up and get your voice heard by the professionals involved in your care.
- Speak on your behalf when you want us to.
- Provide information to help you make an informed choice.
- Help to protect your rights and refer you on to other services if necessary.
