Guild telephone system out of service

3/12/2008 Update: Our telephone system is still out of service. We have been in contact with Ofcom and are doing everything we possibly can to get service operational.
We are still hopeful that we will have a service running today.
2/12/08 Our telephone system is still currently out of service. Some repairs have been carried out and we are waiting for further work to be carried out. We are hopeful that our system will be working today.
1/12/08 The fault has been rectified and we are hopeful that our telephone system will be operatonal by 9.30am on 2nd December.
We are currently experiencing problems with our telephone service.

Official Opening of new HAS Centre

Councillor Brian Vincent, Lord Mayor of Plymouth said 'By moving to Ernest English House and now effectively based in the City Centre, the Hearing and Sight Centre will provide better access for those who come by public transport as it is a stone’s throw away from the main thoroughfare, Royal Parade, and the Bus Station. There is disabled parking outside and plenty of metered parking in the vicinity. Thousands of Plymouth residents have already used the service in the last 17 years and the way is now open and accessible for many more in the future……….', then he and the Lady Mayoress cut the ribbon, declaring the new Hearing and Sight Centre Officially Open.
