PALS is on the move

From the 1st April, 2009 the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) is moving out of Plymouth Guild, where it has been successfully operating for over 5 years and will be based with the Complaints team currently located at The Nuffield Clinic. This change is to provide a more joined up service for patients who are often unsure of where best to express their concerns and get help and information.
PALS will work alongside the Trust’s Complaints Department and will continue to provide a confidential NHS service that offers help, information, advice and support to NHS patients, their carers and relatives. Heather wood, PALS Co-ordinator is keen to remind people, “Our aim is to help sort out problems or concerns quickly and put people in touch with other organisations that can help. We welcome all compliments and comments about the service provided by NHS Plymouth and will listen to suggestions of ways to improve the care we provide. PALS is here to help when you need advice, have concerns or don’t know where to turn.”
