Volunteer Trainees

A brilliant course, felt comfortable throughout - mainly due to the way the course was lead.

I found the organisers & tutors very helpful & resourceful

Will definitely recommend to friends & colleagues

Courses will run throughout 2012.

Opportunities for Volunteer Involving Organisations

The project is inviting applications from VIO’s who are interested in undertaking the process of accreditation for the Investing in Volunteers Programme, as awarded by Volunteering England (see more information on the Investing in Volunteers page).

As an organisation you may apply for financial assistance towards the cost of IIV and the EVD Project Coordinator in the Volunteers Centre (Gill Stringer) will work with you through the processes towards accreditation, acting as a Volunteer Development Agency (VDA) on behalf of Volunteering England. In this way the VDA can, amongst other benefits, provide reassurance & encouragement both during the process and following achievement of the award. For further information and an application pack please contact gill@plymouthguild.org.uk or give us call on 01752 201766.
