Generations Together

Plymouth Generations Together aims to encourage people across generations to work together in a positive way. The benefits of this are shown to be wide and varied; those who participate in activities feel a greater sense of understanding and friendship while at the same time feeling personally valued for their effort and skills; for older groups this often leads to additional physical and mental health improvements and younger people improvements in learning and employment skills are often acknowledged.

Community Vision Symposium

Our recent symposium held at the Holiday Inn brought together statutory and voluntary organisations and their volunteers to celebrate diversity and intergenerational practice. Click the links to see the fun we had together!

Attik Dance - envy the moves of this older generation dance group!

Strange Youngens - this Barbican Theatre Group perfomed a piece written especially for the symposium challenging ageist stereotypes.
