Plymouth Improving Reach First Year
12 individuals will receive training and support to achieve City and Guilds accredited qualifications in Community Development work with volunteering experience and employment mentoring.
An online toolkit will be developed with a broader application across the volunteering and community sector, to allow access of information and to implement best practice when working with volunteers, employees and organisations.
- Plymouth Guild has employed Poppy Ayele as a full time Project Coordinator to run the Improving Reach programme.
- Currently 12 individuals from Black, Minority, Ethnic, and Faith groups have started a Community Development training course for 26 weeks.
- Project partner Fata He is currently providing cultural awareness training for all the partnership staff volunteers.
